What we keep
One key, for a choice you already made.
When you press Accept or Decline on the banner, the site writes a small value into local storage under the key sgaif_consent. The value is either accept or decline. That is the whole of the record. It lets the banner stay out of the way on the next page you open, on this same browser.
The item never leaves the browser as part of a tracking scheme. It is not a third-party cookie. It is not used to recognise you on another device, and it is not tied to the contact form. The form has its own fields, described on the privacy notice.
What we skip
What this site does not place in the browser.
We do not set advertising cookies. We do not run a tag manager. We do not drop a session identifier for analytics. There is no login, so there is no session cookie for an account. Google Fonts are loaded from Google’s servers so that Syne and Work Sans can render; that request is made by your browser to Google, and is covered by Google’s own notices.
The map embed on the contact page and in the footer is served by Google Maps. Loading that frame may cause Google to set its own cookies according to its policies. We do not read those cookies, and we do not use them for our own records. If you prefer not to load the map, you can use the address as written: 11 Bussorah Street, #02-03, Kampong Glam, Singapore 199436.
Choice
How to withdraw the stored choice.
Press the button below. It removes the sgaif_consent key and shows the banner again. You can also clear site data for sgaifuture.life in the browser’s own settings. Either path has the same effect: the next page you open will offer the choice as if you had never pressed a button.
Decline and Accept both hide the banner. The difference is only the value stored under the key. Because we do not run extra scripts after the choice, the pages behave the same either way. The banner exists so that the choice is visible and reversible, not so that a second set of tools can start.

How the bar at the bottom behaves.
The banner is visible on the first visit. If a value is already stored under sgaif_consent, the banner stays hidden. The buttons on the banner use the data-cookie attribute only. There is no other hook. JavaScript writes the value and adds a hiding class; with JavaScript turned off, the banner remains visible and no value is stored, which is a fair default.
We opened in 2026 with this arrangement and we have not added a second key since. If that changes, this page will change with it, and the date at the top will move.
