Before you write
Questions we are asked most weeks.
How long until we hear back?
Within one working day, and usually the same morning if your note arrives before noon Singapore time. If a discovery week is already in motion that day, the reply may wait until the evening, still inside the working day.
What size of company do you work with?
Teams of about five to sixty people, with a body of their own documents and no machine-learning desk. Smaller than five is possible when the archive is already in good order. Larger than sixty usually needs a different kind of workshop than this one.
Can we commission only a discovery week?
Yes. Discovery is a complete piece of work. It ends with a paper, three options, and a go or stop. Many weeks end at stop, and that is a normal outcome. You are not obliged to continue into a prototype.
Where are our documents stored during a build?
In the smallest place that still lets us do the reading. We prefer Singapore or the nearest region your own rules already allow. If a file cannot leave the building, the work sits next to it. Working copies are deleted after hand-over.
Do you sign a confidentiality agreement?
Yes, before discovery and before we see a sample. We will not ask you to send files first and paper later. If your organisation has a standard form, send it with the first note and we will read it.
Do you work with organisations outside Singapore?
Yes, remotely, on Singapore time. Calls sit inside 09:30–18:30 SGT. Visits to Bussorah Street are welcome when travel makes sense; they are by appointment. The work itself does not require you to be in Kampong Glam.
What if we have no IT department?
That is common in the teams we suit. We need a person who owns the documents, a person who can judge an answer, and a named contact who can grant a time-limited access. We do not need a standing engineering bench on your side.
What happens after hand-over?
You keep the tool, the guide, the repository and the evaluation set. The studio steps back. An optional monthly visit can follow if you want the scores and the small repairs watched. If you do not, you still have what you need to run the harness yourselves.

The entrance is on the street. Ring when you arrive; someone will come down. If you are coming by train, Bugis is the usual stop, then a short walk past the shops.
Hours
When the room is open.
Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 18:30 Singapore time. We do not keep Saturday hours. Mail that arrives in the evening is read the next working morning.
If you are writing from another zone, aim for the overlap with those hours. We will not ask you to take a midnight call. If the overlap is thin, we will propose a written exchange instead of stretching the day on both sides.
